You may remember towards the end of last year that we published two incredible and inspirational articles on Jenni and Adele who are currently in full swing of training for the Virgin Money London Marathon 2017. Click on their names to read their stories or click HERE.
While we have all been enjoying the time off over the festive period, these two amazing women haven’t let the lure of Christmas chocolate, turkey sandwiches or celebratory fizz stop them from training!
Christmas and New Year celebrations have been and gone and we are now fully in the swing of January, and for some of us this means the annual New Year health and fitness reboot! I’m sure there are a fair few of you that are currently committing to some sort of a detox or a health kick? Perhaps you’re taking part in Dry January or have signed up to a gym? Well while some of us are taking these tentative steps towards a fitter and healthier lifestyle, Jenni and Adele have been running their socks off! Adele has decided to blog about her training and her experiences in the run up to the London Marathon, if you would like to follow her progress then follow the link HERE.
“Training over Christmas has been a nice bit of peace and quiet whilst the kids have been off school. Christmas dinner tasted much better for knowing that I earned it with all my training. I’ve ordered my #runjennirun wristbands which will arrive within the next few days and be available to buy at YMCA North Tyneside reception for just £3.00.”
