Job Description

We are searching for an exceptional Assistant Chef with experience of working in a fast pasted kitchen environment. Under the supervision of the Senior Chef (Nursery Chef) the post holder will be responsible for planning, preparing and cooking food items, ensuring the highest quality service and experience for nursery children and customers in all our eateries (internal and external). Supporting keeping the kitchen organised and running efficiently with proper food handling, sanitation, waste management, recipe reviews, spotting trends, reviewing customer feedback and following food storage, handling and environmental health procedures.

You should be well organised, proactive, and have the ability to inspire those around you. To be successful in this role, you will need to be able to work within a team and be passionate about ensuring our products are at the highest of standards.

Contract Type: Zero Hours(including weekends)

Salary: Up to £11.50

To be successful, it is essential that you have relevant experience in a cafe environment and/or qualification in food hygiene or related fields. Previous experience in food preparation or serving is also acceptable.

Please note, the post holders must be able to work flexibly depending on the needs of the business and must be available for occasional overtime and weekends.
