HOURS: 7 hours

Job Description

We’re looking for a Lead Youth Worker to join our team on a fixed-term role of 12 months. In this role, you will support the development and delivery of our workin Shildon, leading a team that ensures that all our work aims to support and empower children and young people. You will be leading a team which will deliver high-quality youth work, working in partnership with key stakeholders and local agencies while reflecting the needs of the children and young people we serve.

To be successful, it is essential that you have relevant experience and or relevant qualifications in youth work, ideally a level 5 youth work qualification or a willingness to work towards this, recent relevant Training and Continued Professional Development. Additionally, it is essential that you have a flexible approach to your working hours, working hours will include daytime, evenings, weekends and some bank holidays.
