YMCA North Tyneside is a Voluntary Sector Organisation undertaking youth and community programme work in areas of North Tyneside, South Tyneside, and Teesdale. We are part of the worldwide YMCA movement, which started in London in 1844 has grown to become the world’s largest and oldest youth movement.

Job Description
YMCA North Tyneside operates 24 units of supported accommodation in North Shields on a 24/7 basis and has plans to expand the provision of similar services across the North East. The residents are young people aged 16 to 25 years, however a substantial number are in the 16 to 18 age range. The accommodation was newly created in 2014 and has won a number of awards.
We recently opened a 10 unit accommodation for people with learning difficulties in conjunction with a care provider. We plan to grow our provision of these types of services as the opportunity arises.
As a registered provider YMCA North Tyneside also works closely with other providers of social housing. Operating in the role of intermediary landlord, YMCA helps to create viable housing solutions for 100’s of people under the Exempt Accommodation system.
Job Purpose:
