✅ What Will You Be Doing?

As a Seasonal Youth and Community Worker, you will be at the heart of our community, delivering high-quality and empowering holiday activities. Your main responsibilities include:

• Delivering Engaging Activities: Assisting in the delivery and evaluation of imaginative play and youth work programs that encourage active participation.
• Building Relationships: Maintaining effective communication with colleagues, children, young people, and their families to ensure a welcoming environment.
• Promoting Participation: Involving young people in decision-making processes and ensuring every child feels seen and valued.
• Ensuring Safety: Following safeguarding policies and maintaining a safe, inclusive delivery space for all participants.

🔑 What Skills and Experience Do You Need?

To be successful in this flexible and rewarding bank role, it is essential that you have:

• Relevant Experience: Experience working directly with children or young people in a youth work or play-work setting.
• A Team Mindset: The ability to work collaboratively within a team to deliver flexible activities that meet the needs of our diverse community.
• Commitment to Best Practice: A professional approach to inclusive practice, safeguarding, and health and safety.
• Holiday Availability: The ability to work a variety of hours during Easter, Summer, and half-term breaks.
