Impact Report

2024 – 2025

Dear Reader,

This Impact Report highlights so much to be thankful for at YMCA North Tyneside. Guided by our new core values, we’ve achieved significant impact thanks to our dedicated staff and volunteers – we are truly grateful for their hard work.

Collaboration is key, and we deeply appreciate the vital support of our partners in the voluntary sector, local government and North Tyneside businesses, enabling us to do more together.

As you’ll see, our deeper engagement within North Tyneside reveals evolving community needs, and we are actively listening. The insights shared by our young people and communities have directly informed our new ‘2025 and beyond’ strategy.

Looking ahead, YMCA North Tyneside is excited to expand our reach and support even more people. We look forward to you joining us on this journey to 2030.

Best wishes,

Dean Titterton, CEO

LOOKING TO THE FUTURE

2025 & Beyond

Building on years of successful service, YMCA North Tyneside is launching an impactful new strategy for 2025 and beyond. This plan will enable us to adapt and expand our work, ensuring we can continue to support a healthy, happy, and connected community.

We hope you’ll join us as we explore our key priorities – from increasing housing options to empowering young people and strengthening our community voice. Our new strategy will ensure we continue to create a lasting impact on the lives of those we work with.

HOW YOU CAN HELP

Without your support, we couldn’t deliver our vital services and create the impact that we do. Every gym membership, coffee bought in the cafe, nursery fee paid or event attended helps generate income to ensure we can continue to serve our community. So, if you would like to contribute to the growth of our impact, below are our upcoming 2025 events and other ways you can get involved.

Date: Friday 29th August

Location: Tynemouth Golf Club, NE30 2ER

Tickets: £50 per person

Date: Saturday 13th September

Location: Ullswater Lake District

Tickets: £25 registration fee

Date: Saturday 22nd November

Location: Village Hotel, NE27 0BY

Tickets: £75 per person

One-off donations help cover the cost of meals for children in our youth groups, cover the cost of ID for our residents, sponsor a child through our Bursary Scheme or even part fund resources for our children’s programmes.

Regular monthly donations provide stable income which will benefit the young people who reside here at YMCA North Tyneside. These ongoing donations help to cover short falls in our resident’s rent when they have chosen an apprenticeship over unemployment, even though it means there will be a reduction in their benefits.

Thank you to all our fantastic partners! Our impact could not stretch as far without your support.
