Your donation will transform your local community, directly benefiting the lives of many vulnerable children, families and homeless young people.

From providing a warm bed, to clothing for interviews and funding Science Club sessions, your single donation no matter how small, will help change the future of local children and young people.

Ongoing donations towards our charitable outcomes will bring stability and help provide provisions to the young people who reside here in YMCA North Tyneside’s supported accommodation.

Give the gift of hope to future generations by leaving a donation in your will. YMCA will guide you through the process every step of the way, ensuring your money makes a difference.

Can provide suitable clothing to help a young person prepare for their first job interview.

Help Them Gain Employment

Your kind donation will allow a young person to buy or rent appropriate, professional clothing for a job interview. Wearing smart clothing supports a young person to feel confident and improves their self-esteem.

Can contribute towards a new coat to keep a young person warm.

Keep Them Warm

We all know how cold the North East Winter can be! Your donation will go towards the cost of providing a young person with a warm, waterproof winter coat.

Gift a weekly Metro Pass to a young person so they can get to their new job.

Get Them To Work

Your donation will support a young person with their first week’s travel to their new job. This gift means they won’t need to borrow money before they are paid which supports their budgeting and money management.

Help a young person see the world by contributing towards the cost of a passport.

Expand Their Horizons

Your contribution towards a new passport gives a young person the opportunity to see the world after spending the majority of their life in an enclosed and sometimes dangerous environment.

Can provide one of our young people with 5 counselling session to help them work through an unsettling past.

Help Them Find Happiness

Your donation covers the cost of professional, accredited counselling sessions for a young person. Many young people in supported accommodation have experienced childhood trauma. Mental Health Service waiting lists can be over a year long. Counselling sessions support young people to address past issues and focus on positive coping strategies, avoiding self-medicating alternatives such as drugs and alcohol.

Your support makes a real difference!

We help transform the lives of young people in North Tyneside, especially those that are most in need. From accommodation (tackling homelessness) through to the provision of training, support, advice, youth clubs, activities and services (such as our Nursery and Gym). We’re there for young people.

By having either one-off or regular supporters we are able to plan ahead with our vital programmes. People and families who are experiencing disadvantage benefit greatly from the physical and social benefits our programs and services offer, but they often struggle to access them It also allows us to save on administration costs. But we can’t do this without your support.
