Are you a meticulous HR administrator ready for a coordinator role?

As an innovative employer dedicated to supporting our employees’ health, wellbeing, and work-life balance, we are proud to be piloting the 100:80:100 model starting January 2026. 

This arrangement will commence for you following a successful three-month probationary period. This means the contracted full-time hours for this role will then be 30 hours per week (80% of normal hours), worked flexibly between Monday to Friday, while you continue to receive 100% of the stated salary (£27,115.00 per annum).

We are seeking a highly organised and detail orientated HR Coordinator to become the essential administrative heart of our HR function. This is a chance to move beyond basic admin and truly coordinate the entire employee experience, reporting directly to the Head of HR.

The impact you will have

This role is pivotal to the HR Team and the wider organisation’s success. You’ll ensure our HR administrative services are highly accurate, timely and professional across every stage of the employee lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding to leavers and payroll support.  If you thrive on efficiency, getting the details right, especially when it comes to legislative compliance and timely payroll submissions and are ready to make a tangible difference in how our staff are supported,  we would love to hear from you!

The role requires meticulous attention to detail and adherence to statutory timelines, serving as a critical control point between HR and Payroll.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Administering the full employee journey, including issuing contracts, conducting pre-employment checks (DBS, Right to Work), and ensuring smooth on-boarding and offboarding processes.
  • Being a super user of our HR & Payroll database (Ciphr), ensuring all employee records are accurate, 100% compliant and up-to-date.
  • Acting as the critical link between HR, Finance and our external payroll provider to ensure accurate monthly payments and administering our employee benefits programmes.
  • Maintaining strict adherence to GDPR, Safeguarding and all regulatory checks. You’ll proactively manage document renewal (e.g., visa checks) and ensure system compliance.
  • Serving as the first point of contact for staff queries, managing the HR inbox and continually identifying and implementing improvements to automate and streamline our administrative processes.
  • Providing administrative support for our key people processes like PDRs, training coordination and health and wellbeing initiatives, contributing to our supportive and collaborative environment.

What You’ll Bring (Essential Criteria):

  • Proven HR Administration experience, ideally covering the full employee lifecycle.
  • Payroll confidence to support and administer the payroll process and handling sensitive data and timelines
  • Obsession with detail and having an unwavering commitment to meticulous data accuracy and compliant records management
  • Tech savvy and high proficiency in HRIS/HR software (ideally Ciphr) and strong IT skills in Microsoft Office/Google Suite
  • Good working knowledge of UK employment law and data protection principles (GDPR).
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a professional, person-centred approach that actively contributes to a positive and supportive workplace culture.
  • Proven ability to manage a busy workload, prioritise effectively and consistently meet strict, non-negotiable deadlines (especially around payroll).
