✅ What Will You Be Doing?

As the Head of Housing Quality Governance & Assurance, you will act as our ‘Guardian of Quality,’ bridging the gap between frontline service delivery and Board-level assurance during our transition into a large provider status. Your main responsibilities will include:

• Regulatory & Consumer Standards Leadership: Conducting gap analyses against Consumer Standards and driving the required shift into the RSH’s ‘Proactive Regulation’ regime.
• Governance Support: Working closely with the Director of Finance, Director of Transformation, and the Board of Trustees to ensure the organisation is fully prepared for In-Depth Assessments (IDA) and formal inspections.
• Stakeholder & Tenant Engagement: Acting as the primary point of contact for the RSH and the Housing Ombudsman, while overseeing Tenant Satisfaction Measures (TSMs) to drive genuine service improvements.
• Data Integrity: Ensuring a ‘single version of truth’ for all asset management, compliance, and performance data.

🔑 What Skills and Experience Do You Need?

To be successful in this pivotal leadership role, it is essential that you bring:

• Qualifications: A CIH Level 5 in Housing Management (or equivalent).
• Experience: Proven experience engaging with the Regulator of Social Housing (RSH) and managing housing operations through significant growth or scaling.
• Knowledge: Deep understanding of social housing regulation and the Housing Ombudsman’s Complaint Handling Code.
• Data Literacy: High proficiency in interpreting complex data to identify compliance and satisfaction trends before they become regulatory breaches.
