We provide care and education for children aged from 3 months, up to 5 years old, across three rooms:

• Babies (0 – 2 years)

• Toddlers (2 – 3 years)

• Pre-School (3 – 5 years)

Our facilities and dedicated nursery team provide a safe and supportive environment, fostering children’s physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development, and giving them the best possible start in life.

We offer a wide range of activities across the nursery, including the use of our sensory room, outdoor play, arts and crafts, messy play, games, reading, story time and small world.

The possibilities are endless for fun, creative, engaging and developmental activities. In addition, we have our allotment and arrange a number of exciting outings each year.

The children will also enjoy regular trips out to explore our allotment. 

It is only an 800m walk away, digging and getting hands on with some mud is essential!

Children have plenty of space to get messy! From sand and water play 💦 to a wide variety of art materials 🖌️, we encourage every child to express their inner artist.

🪵 Discovery & Imagination

Our Heuristic and Loose Parts area uses natural wood, metal, and textiles to engage the senses. 🖐️ Here, a simple wood off-cut isn’t just wood—it’s a magic wand, a tower, or a pencil! 🪄 The possibilities are endless.

🎭 Role Play & Friendships

In our Role Play corner, toddlers build social skills and confidence. 🤝 By sharing ideas and playing together, they begin to form their very first meaningful friendships with their peers. 👯‍♂️

📚 Storytime & Connection

Our cosy Circle Time area is perfect for quiet moments. 📖 Through stories and group activities, we help children develop essential listening, language, and social interaction skills. 🗣️

Our Pre-school Room is an inviting and vibrant space for 3 and 4-year-olds to explore and learn! ✨ Our Room Lead has designed every corner to spark curiosity and help your little ones prepare for their next big step into school. 🏫

📚 Magical Stories & Cosy Corners

We have created a cosy story area where children can dive into books and join in with staff-led story sessions. 📖 Books are brilliant for firing up imaginations and helping children fall in love with storytelling from an early age! 🧚‍♂️

🌈 Self-Registration & Feelings

Our Circle Time area is a key part of the day! ⭕ Here, children use self-registration to recognise their own names and pictures—a fantastic skill for school readiness. 📝 We also use this time to talk about feelings, helping children understand and express their emotions in a supportive environment. ❤️

🏰 Imagination & Construction

Our Role Play area changes regularly to keep things exciting! 🎭 Whether they are pretending to be chefs or doctors, role play is essential for developing social skills and self-expression. 🗣️ For the little builders, our Construction and Small World areas allow them to create incredible structures and bring stories to life with mini figures! 🧱🤖

🎨 Creative & Sensory Play

Our open creative area is always buzzing! 🖌️ Children have constant access to different materials to make their own masterpieces. We also provide daily sand and water play 💦, alongside plenty of fun, messy activities that toddlers (and teachers!) love. 🎨✨

We have a fantastic sensory room thanks to Thomas Cooks Children’s Charity, which is adjoined to the toddler room (as the building was previously a bank, the sensory room is situated in what used to be the safe). As it is enclosed and has no windows, it was the perfect place to have a sensory room!

The sensory room is equipped with a large range of sensory resources for children to explore, including bubble tubes, UV lighting, interactive floor tiles, instruments and more. The sensory room provides all children to explore different aspects of the world using all senses including touch, sound and smell.  This enables children to explore safely and interact with objects and resources that they may not usually come in contact with. Sensory play can also help to further enhance children’s play and imagination.

Our children love to explore the different aspects of the room.
The sensory room also provides calm sensory engagement for children with additional needs such as autism, Asperger’s, behaviour needs and much more.
