Our leaders for life programme delivered across the course of 14 weeks, worked with a number of young people furthest away from the job market.
We worked with our corporate partner Sage and funder Bernicia Housing to provide some incredible opportunities for the young people. We have seen some incredible journeys as part of this project, with young people who took part in it going from barely able to look at people when they spoke, to having the confidence to say that they are …
“going for the interview and I don’t mind the outcome, I am just pleased I am able to go for it!”.
We have seen a young person join with no idea what they want to do with their life, to have the confidence to state that they know what they are doing and start exploring ways to achieve this.
