Christmas Appeal

With the cost of living crisis this year we are seeing more and more young people and families having to count their pennies more carefully this year. Parents are having to make a choice to spend all their money on household bills and groceries leaving nothing extra to spend on new clothes or toys for the children.

Your donations this year will make sure each of our families have a special Christmas no matter what’s going on in the world. Children and young people shouldn’t have to suffer for circumstances beyond their or their parents control. That’s why your donations of gifts or finances will be particularly helpful this year as we work together to support those in most need in our community.

What’s happening?

Christmas Appeal 2022

This year our young people have had no increase in already low benefits and are now having to pay more for everyday things, like weekly food shops and travel. We do what we can in using our contacts at local supermarkets to donate food supplies however that isn’t enough to help all our young people.

Donations this year will mean more than ever. Our residents would have little luxuries that they couldn’t otherwise afford or think to buy themselves. Gifts of homeware will help them take pride in their flats and gifts of toiletries etc will mean they have a bit of extra money in their pockets to spend on themselves for a change.
