One of our fantastic Trustees, Mark Earl, has completed ‘The Wall’–a gruelling 70-mile course along Hadrian’s Wall, from Carlisle to Newcastle Quayside, this past Saturday 18th of June, raising over £1000 for YMCA North Tyneside.

Mark has completed the event in just over 12 hours. After he finished Mark joked he never wishes to run again. “My body is in the worst physical pain it’s ever been (…) but it was a great event and good way to see parts of the North I’ve never been to before,” Mark said.

We’d like to say a huge thank you to Mark and everyone who has supported him and donated.

YMCA North Tyneside houses 30 young people at risk of homelessness and delivered safe space and community events for multiple young groups across North Tyneside and Teesdale.
