An exciting opportunity has arisen within our organisation for a HR professional to join us as HR Manager.

LOCATION: North Shields

CONTRACT TYPE: 37.5 hours, Permanent

SALARY: Up to £36,500 (pro rata) per annum

Overview:

We have an exciting opportunity for a HR professional to join our team. As our HR Manager, you will lead the HR team and develop our HR services to support our mission of fostering healthy, happy, and connected communities. This role is crucial in ensuring the effective implementation of HR policies and practices, fostering a positive work environment, and supporting the recruitment, development, and retention of a diverse and dedicated workforce. 

We’re looking for someone with exceptional interpersonal skills who will enable strong relationships to be formed across all levels of the organisation, facilitating open communication and collaboration. You should possess strong problem-solving abilities, and experience in change management with an ability to adeptly navigate the complexities of organisational transformations ensuring smooth and effective implementation of new initiatives. 

You should have experience aligning HR strategies with organisational goals, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation while promoting the charity’s values and culture throughout the entire employee lifecycle. With extensive knowledge of diversity and inclusion best practices, this role is pivotal in fostering an inclusive workplace where every team member feels valued and respected. Your commitment to continuous improvement and your proactive approach will help drive our charity forward, ensuring we achieve our mission and goals. 

Educated to Degree level and with CIPD accreditation (or equivalent experience), you will have experience in line managing a team and comprehensive HR generalist knowledge. Ideally, you will have experience within a charity/non-profit or a multi-faceted organisation.
