An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Community team to join us as a Youth Worker In Shildon.

LOCATION: Shildon, exact location to be confirmed

HOURLY RATE OF PAY: £10.50 – £12.42

HOURS: 5 hours

CONTRACT TYPE: Fixed Term

Job Description

We’re looking for a Youth Work Team to join our wider team in a variety of roles for 12 months fixed term. In these roles, you will support the development and delivery of our work within Shildon, ensuring that all our work aims to support and empower children, young people & the wider community. You will deliver high-quality youth work and engagement, working in partnership with key stakeholders and local agencies while reflecting the needs of the young people we serve.

To be successful, it is essential that you have relevant experience and or relevant qualifications in youth work, ideally a level 5 youth work qualification or a willingness to work towards this, recent relevant Training and Continued Professional Development. Additionally, it is essential that you have a flexible approach to your working hours, working hours will include daytime, evenings, weekends and some bank holidays.
