Job Description

We are looking for Youth & Community workers to join our community team at YMCA North Tyneside. In this role you will be supporting the development and delivery of our after school club work across North Tyneside Borough as contracted by North of the Tyne Combined Authority.
This project will be youth led, supporting the growth and development of children and young people through a 10 week programme of activities in a variety of primary and secondary schools. Session will allow them to explore and develop a variety of physical activity sessions, sessions that promote good mental and emotional wellbeing through the exploration of a variety of arts and crafts and a number of ways they can contribute to their community through social action projects. Each cohort will consist of up to 5 schools, after school hours, for 1.5 hours per session with the additional planning time.

To be successful, it is essential that you have relevant experience and/or relevant qualifications in youth/community work, recent relevant training and Continued Professional Development.
